I’ve been visiting the British Museum in London over 15 years. It’s a great place and we usually make a beeline for the Egyptian mummies and the Elgin Marbles (somewhat controversial!).
In 199y, the British Library, which occupied the central Courtyard moved into its new building in St Pancras and work began on renovating the area. The Queen Elizabeth II Great Court was opened to the public in 2000.
I could spend ages in the great Court, trying to find interesting angles in the roof.
